The vineyard is located at Sonoma County above the Russian River.
The soils and microclimates of Sonoma County have been discovered
to offer ideal growing conditions for premium wine grapes. The vineyard
were replanted in 1995 to select clones of Cabernet Sauvignon and
Merlot.
The Bouchon Winery following the introduction in 1989 and extraordinary
popularity of the brand in Asia. Our Winemaker uses the innovative
LISA system of cultivation (Low Impact Sustainable Agriculture)
to protect the environment of the estate. With his comprehensive
knowledge of the soil and climate here, our winemaker oversees the
vineyards during the harvest and throughout the complete growing
cycle.
