Our compact bottling line is
equipped with automated fillers which handle 375ML, 750ML and 1.5L
size bottles at speeds up to 120 bottles per minute. Larger bottles,
such as 3L, are filled by hand. The cork is inserted automatically
and the capsule is spun onto the neck.
The next step is labeling.
Then after inspection to assure that each bottle is properly "dressed,"
the wines are automatically packed into shipping cases and stacked
on wooden pallets.
The 20,000 square-foot warehouse
is temperature-controlled. Wines are bottle-aged here for periods
lasting up to several months until being released for shipment.
The pallets of Bouchon wines
are dispatched to all 50 states and to more than 20 foreign countries
where Bouchon has customers.
